How This Seattle & Puget Sound Guide Was Checked
We used current original mosque, school, Muslim-service and food-service websites, plus City of Redmond information and live registration pages where MAPS uses an external registration platform. For Bantaba, where a clear current halal statement was not found on the restaurant's own site, we separately identified the verification source used below. The U.S. Census Bureau does not collect religious affiliation, so this guide does not publish an invented official Muslim percentage.
Official confirmation that the Census does not collect/tabulate religious affiliation.
